PAMC - UNIT 3

This unit is designed to teach

communication arts students digital and graphic design using Adobe In-Design. Lesson objectives for this course will prepare students to master topics necessary for passing the Adobe Certified Associate Exam. In addition, students will be trained in organizational habits that will prepare them for work in a professional design setting based on program skills and the development of their own creative styles based on design foundations.

Instruction includes video, text, one-on-one instruction, and real-world projects.

- In-Design Overview

- Introduction to Workspace and

  Interface

- Menus, Tools and Panels

- Creating documents

- Working with objects

- Flowing and editing text

- Working with typography

- Working with color, graphics, 

  tables, and transparencies

- Designing single and multi-page 

  graphic materials (brochures,

  posters, menus, magazine

  layouts, etc.)

- Printing and exporting press-ready

  documents

- Exporting web graphics
